After last's night ep I am even more so convinced she is the one. One thing that sticks out in my mind is that in every interview Aaron has had on TV he said that there was an immediate attraction between him and his final pick. Helene is the only one from that start that he claimed immediate attraction to. I think she will also come from "the right kind of family. Next three for roses: Helene, Gwen,Brooke ----- Original Message ----- From: Pamela Rosen To: The_Bachelor_Club@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, October 17, 2002 9:30 PM Subject: [The_Bachelor_Club] Helene Hi everyone!!!!| I really think Helene is going to be the one that Aaron picks. Here is some of my rationale. 1) She's the perfect age 27 2) She starting to feel something for Aaron but not jumping into so fast. 3) Aaron seems to be very interested in her not only physically but intellectually. 4) They come from similar backgrounds and family. 5) She is the smartest and most educated of the six. 6) Brooke is way too young and Immature. 7) Heather is too pushy (even Aaron remarked about that) 8)Gwen too old (31) Pam [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo! The single dates were decided by a personality test to see who matched Aaron the best. The first date was with Heather. They flew in a helicopter to a spa where they got the royal treatment and massages. Later they jumped in the hot tub/pool. Heather said that she was really feeling Aaron, and she could see herself being his wife, but Aaron was on a different page and said he felt no chemistry. [my opinion, it was really sad to see her go on about how great they were together and Aaron saying the opposite] The second date was with Gwen. Aaron took her on a fairytale date, but before the date started, the show arranged for Gwen to get ready by bring by the dress (big, beautiful, light blue, formal dress), and having a pro do her hair and make-up. On the date, the two road a carnage to the hotel where they had dinner and listen to a private violinist. They talked about their personal motto's or what drives them. The third date was the group date with Hayley, Brooke and Angela where they went yachting. Nothing much happened except some of the girls said Helene talks too much. Aaron said that the girls were still a little upset about the cell number fiasco. The last date was with Helene where they went to Aaron's house and cooked (grilled) dinner. Helene gave Aaron a little bit of a hard time because he didn't want to come out and say "I like you", when it might end up hurting her later. [Aaron also said later he feels a little beat up and bruised after talking with her because she always has something.] Now I'm not sure about the rose ceremony because they pre-empted it for an update on the D.C. sniper shootings, but I do know that Hayley and Heather went home. Heather was pretty hurt, but you could tell she would be ok and Hayley said she wouldn't wish this to her worst enemy. ----------------------- Ok, now to the last four. If I had to pick my favorite I think I would pick Gwen, just because I felt good about her on the first night [I had the same feeling about Amanda the first night of the first bachelor], but I usually don't say anything because I'll jinx myself. Anyway If there was any thing big during the rose ceremony, let me know. -Psichick1 --- In The_Bachelor_Club@y..., "renaesch" wrote: > Help! However, after reading the US Magazine article on his 'ideal' woman...he described Helene. Here is the quote: 'I like women who are versatile- not somebody who always has to be prim and proper. You know, during the day she can put on a ball cap, and we can watch the ballgame together, drink beer. And in evening, she can get dressed up in a very nice evening gown and be just drop- dead gorgeous. I think that, of course, long legs and a big chest are sexy, but I find intelligence is sexier.' Who do you think fits that discription the best? I think Helene right now, but Gwen may just be that woman. My picks for who will be picked for the next round are Helene, Brooke and Gwen. After watching Angela's video (miss 'I love bad boys') is not for Aaron. Like she said ...he is a play by the rules kind of guy, why would he act any different after what he has so far? --- In The_Bachelor_Club@y..., "Pamela Rosen" wrote: > Last week I sent the post below as to why I think Helene will be Aaton's final choice. > > Next three for roses: Helene, Gwen,Brooke > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Pamela Rosen > To: The_Bachelor_Club@y... > Sent: Thursday, October 17, 2002 9:30 PM > Subject: [The_Bachelor_Club] Helene > > > Hi everyone!!!!| > > I really think Helene is going to be the one that Aaron picks. LOL!!! There is this restaurant where Brooke is from called Catfish Cabin, and it's the most popular restaurant in the whole town...it would be a hoot if she took him there...lol I liked Heather from TX but she really came on way too strong. She went on and on and on about how great they were together. I was unsure if she really thought he believed it also, or was trying to convince him. You could tell he did not have the same feelings. He was very nice to her, but "standoffish". The date with Gwen, to me, was so-so. It seemed like such a bore. She didn't seem to have a lot of personality. She seemed in awe of him and him of her - like they were feeling more "lustful" feelings rather than actual long term attraction. The date with Helene was a fun time. They laughed, they cut up. They acted more like themselves. Helene does talk a lot, doesn't she? lol I can't complain though because she reminded me of my younger daughter, lol. She's been accused of rattling on and on from time to time! The Group date - I just didn't see him having a lot of chemistry with anyone in this group other than Brooke. He also assured her she was getting a rose "that night". This worried her because of the wording he used "that night", she's now worried about the next rose ceremony. She always seems so relaxed around Aaron. He also seems to be smiling when he's with her. The rose ceremony - preditable other than Angela. The first rose went to Gwen - his newfound interest. The second rose to Helene ( I think- could have been vice versa with her and Angela), you knew this was going to happen. Third rose - Angela - now, this was a surprise, but she did open up a little to him right before the rose ceremony and I think that's what helped her to beat out Hayley. As for Heather from TX, she was a goner from the time they had their individual date. *I wonder if he was still remembering her cutting down Brooke from the previous show... The final rose went to Brooke. I almost felt sorry for her having to sit there and sweat and worry especially after he had assured her she was getting a rose "that night". For all she knew, he could have been like Alex and just told everyone of them that there were his favorite. . Speaking of Alex - did he ever hit you as possibly being gay? lol He did me! I rooting for Brooke or Helene. Gwen seems too uptight and Angela didn't seem to bring anything out in him. --- In The_Bachelor_Club@y..., "Linda" wrote: > This is a spoiler - > > For those who missed it here is the short story: > > First there were 3 single dates and one group date with the remaining > three. In fact, last night after the show, I thought there were some interesting parallels with the ones he picked this year and the ones Alex picked last year. The way I see it: Helene = Shannon (fiesty, difficult, intriguing, attractive, calls Aaron to task) Angela = Kim (pretty blonde, but never had an individual date, surprise pick, longshot) Brooke = Amanda (the young ingenue) Gwen = Trista (the "older woman", also a blonde) I think he's going to pick Gwen in the end, unless Helene mellows out a bit! I truly think the age difference and Brooke's father being in prison will work against her, no matter what Aaron thinks. Can you imagine what his parents will think when they catch wind of the prison situation? Brooke is out IMO. I wish Angela would smile more. She said she is very shy, but to me she comes across as sad or depressed every time they show her. I felt bad for Heather from Texas. It was painfully obvious watching their date that Aaron was very uncomfortable with her and had no interest, and to see her gushing about the chemistry between them -- she had no clue!
