It started 30 years ago today 
when baby trista came into the world to stay 
and from the very moment she could talk she'd say 
I'm gonna live life the right way. 
Her soul is a story you can read through her eyes 
the further you get, the more you get surprised. 
Wise beyond her years it appears 
no fear could stear her clear from right here. 
She's a woman who knows that her heart needs to be 
in a rose she can hold for eternity. 
On a personal note let me take time to say 
that no matters what happens and come what may 
it's a night to remember so let's celebrate.
